About Focus Waukesha

About Focus Waukesha, LLC

Our mission at Focus Waukesha, LLC, is to enhance the quality of life in Waukesha County and help grow local businesses and nonprofits through our quality reporting, relevant content, local business directory and superior user experience.

We tell the stories of our Waukesha County lifestyle and the people who make it possible — from the beauty of our lakes and rural communities, where half of our residents live, to our flourishing cities and villages. We also tell the stories of our businesses and nonprofits, helping them thrive by promoting their products, services and events, as well as their important role providing jobs for our residents.

Our goal for the business directory is to make it much easier for shoppers to find and buy the products and services they need from local Waukesha County businesses, rather than defaulting to national retailers and ecommerce giants.

Focus Waukesha requires no subscription for readers to access our content and directory. Our work is entirely supported by our directory members, advertisers and partners.

Our Tagline is News. Inspiration. Connection. It signifies that we provide the following to our target audience:

  • News: Local business and lifestyle news from across the county.
  • Inspiration: Stories of local residents, our lifestyle and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Connection: Bringing people and businesses together toward the common good.
