Every year, the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group host the Manufacturing Madness Tournament, where the Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin compete for bragging rights. This year, eleven Waukesha County products made it into the tournament, among 130 statewide, and one of them has reached the final round of eight.

Our highest-ranking local product in the contest is the Revo long-range wireless sensor, which alerts ice fishermen when fish have latched onto their tip-ups. It sends long-range, wireless alerts to a handheld worn by the user or a smartphone. Made by Vulture Systems of Menomonee Falls, Revo is the company’s newest product, and it’s the only device on the market that can be mounted on tip-up flags and monitor the t-bar of the tip-up for spinning.

Revo is competing against a maple syrup evaporator, and you can cast your vote to help Vulture Systems win by going to https://www.madeinwis.com/contests/2024-contest/ by October 8. The top four products will be announced October 9 and voting will continue for another week to choose the ultimate winner to be announced October 17.
